Where we are based? We are based in the Slievemore Clinic, Stillorgan, Dublin. Home visits and nursing home visits can be arranged on request.
How many therapy sessions will I need? Following an indepth assessment, your Speech & Language Therapist will determine how many session you will require.
Do I need a referral from a doctor? You will only need a referral from an ENT doctor if you are having problems with your voice. Otherwise, you do not need a referral from a doctor and can make an appointment directly with us. You will, however, need a Doctor’s letter for the tax office to claim tax back on Speech & Language Therapy fees and some insurance companies will also require a doctor’s referral letter in order to make a claim.

Does my health insurance cover Speech & Language Therapy? As we are registered with IASLT & RCSLT, you may be entitled to cover. The level of cover will depend on the plan you are on. Please check: www.vhi.ie www.quinn.ie www.aviva.ie
Can I claim tax relief for Speech & Language Therapy? Yes, you are entitled to tax relief of 20%. You will be provided with a receipt for all services to facilitate tax relief claims. Please check: http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/leaflets/it6.html
